The crowd around Jesus turned quickly from joyful to deadly. Even more quickly, God raised Jesus from the dead. But not everything happens quickly. Our wounds are deep and the world’s troubles are many—healing and justice take time. So not just once, but again and again, we turn to the Easter story, so God’s good news can sink all the way in. Easter means that in spite of every challenge and defeat, Jesus is going ahead of us, calling us to follow. With God, the end is not the end. Christ is risen indeed, and we get to write a new story.
Our music director, Mark Fox, really brought his best to our Traditional Worship on Easter Sunday. There's organ, bells, a choir, and brass!
