Supporting our community is about more than meeting immediate needs—it’s about showing up with care, dignity, and a commitment to one another’s well-being.

At Bethel International UMC, we believe that when neighbors have what they need to thrive, the whole community is stronger.

This page highlights some of the ways we respond to real needs in our neighborhood right now. Some efforts focus on food access, others on partnership and presence, and more will continue to grow as we listen and learn alongside our neighbors. Whether you’re able to give, volunteer, advocate, or simply spread the word, there’s a place for you in this work.

Food Donations

Each month, we highlight a few specific items that are most needed. If shopping isn’t your thing, a financial gift allows us to purchase exactly what’s needed on your behalf. Donations of shelf-stable, non-expired food are always welcome and can be given at any time.
