Again & Again

True charity, true prayer, true fasting, true treasure are for God.

Religious/spiritual acts are not performative to impress other people, and they are not merely therapeutic to make ourselves feel better. We give because giving is blessed and necessary in our relationship with God.  Prayer prioritizes God’s will, not our own. 

“Again and again, God invites us into fuller ways of being.”  That’s what this Lent will be—God’s invitation into fuller ways of being.
