In this worship series, we’ve got one last “Honest Question for Deeper Faith.” Our question for Easter is: “Who are you looking for?”
We are taught to look for so many things in life: Success. Independence. Recognition. Security. Things like that may be what we’re looking for. But what Jesus asked Mary on Easter morning wasn’t “What are you looking for?” It was, “Who are you looking for?”
Ah yes, now that’s the question: Who are you looking for, my friends? On Easter, the answer is . . . “Jesus.” Actually, every day the answer is “Jesus.” Who are you looking for. Why, Jesus, of course.
