The Four Gs of Generosity

This worship series is called “Four G’s of Generosity.”  In Luke chapters 17 through 19, generosity is about four “G” words—(1) having Grit (resilience and persistence).  It’s about (2) Grace, and it’s full of (3) Gusto.  In the first message, we find that generosity begins with (4) Gratitude.  Generosity is about seeing how Jesus has healed and blessed and cared for you.  And it’s about opening your heart to praise God.  Open eyes and open hearts—what a great path to generosity!

Our series prayer is a prayer of Generosity:

“God, make us generous people: people of gratitude, grit, grace and gusto.  God, make us generous people.  Amen.”
