The gospel invitation does not have to persuade people to believe something specific, or to answer all the questions. But, inviting people to church can be intimidating.

In this series we look to Jesus and two simple ways he invites the people he meets along the way. Jesus’s invitation isn’t to be part of a religion, exactly. He does not (at least not here) invite people to believe certain things, or to sing certain songs, or to worship in a certain way. He simply invites people to “come and see.” And to follow. He wants us to be part of a movement, a group of people who live and do important things together. Let’s explore both invitations, “Come and see,” and “Follow me.”
