Paul lifts up several Christian role models in 2 Timothy:  Timothy’s mother Eunice and his grandmother Lois, as well as Paul himself.  But to rekindle our faith, above all, we remember Jesus.  To know how to live, we remember Jesus.  Remembering Jesus includes both his suffering (which we are called to share), and his resurrection (which we are promised to share).  Specifically today, we will remember our baptism into the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus—and we will be thankful.
