Building hope one house at a time!

Service through Habitat for Humanity has long been part of our community engagement work here at BIUMC. The yearly housing projects have found support amongst a group of dedicated folks who delight in raising money and volunteering to build houses for each new family that enters the program.

Meet the Evans Family!

Help us raise $2500 for the materials needed to build the Evans' family home at 1396 Genessee Ave. Make a difference in their lives by donating today.

Committed to Community

In 2018, three exisiting partnerships joined forces to create the Northside Partnership within Habitat for Humanity. After building over 50 houses separately, the 15 churches making up the Northside partnership have created a way to expand their reach in order meet the community in areas where housing resources are needed most.

The Northside Partnership provides families with a great and memorable experience while building the highest quality house possible. Construction on the Northside Partnership has proudly continued throughout the pandemic, and shows no signs of slowing.
