For many, Mother’s Day is a great joy. But for others, it’s a painful day—for those grieving their mom, for those whose moms were unable to care for them, for women who have lost children or wanted children but never had them. We are recognizing Mother’s Day in two ways: (1) collecting diapers and baby wipes to support local families, and (2) a panel of five women will share their experiences and spiritual journeys as mothers. In our prayer time, we’ll lift to God both the love and the pain people have today. We honor, and God loves, people with all kinds of feelings and experiences. Welcome!
