We added a Blessing Box to our property in 2020. It's located near the east entrance of our parking lot, and stocked with non-perishible grocery items. Being a Blessing Box host has been one way we have been able to help our community during the pandemic. Learn more about the project below.

BIUMC's english-speaking congregation is a reconciling congregation. Many of our members have also become Reconciling United Methodists (RUMs). Becoming a RUM is a way for each individual to show their support for full inclusion. In addition, we are hosting the RMN Pride Festival for the second year in a row. Little Bottoms is dedicated to helping families with children from birth to five years old by giving away diapers, wipes, clothes, toys and more to those in the Franklinton area of Columbus. Learn more about their work by clicking the link below.

Gables Elementary and Centennial High School are two Columbus City Schools in our community that we have built relationships with over the years. We've hosted book drives and become reading buddies, crossing guards, and more.
