Adult Sunday School

Adult Sunday School

One way that members of Bethel International continue to develop as Christian disciples is by studying scripture, theology, spiritual practices and current events. Adult Sunday School classes provide a supportive environment in which to think critically, deepen your understanding of God, and reflect with others about living as Christians in today’s world. We encourage our members to engage with others in Sunday School classes in order to live out our mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ for the purpose of transforming the world. Each class has a different focus, so find the one that best fits your needs and interests. Church members lead classes that take place at 10 a.m. on Sunday mornings. Children and Youth classes are listed on their own pages.

This class studies a mix of topics, to include Biblical scripture, liturgical seasons of the church, books on spiritual growth and social issues, using an open discussion format. Discussion leadership rotates with each new study. They also meet outside of Sundays for group trips and fellowship.

Meeting Location: Room 16
Leader: Don Kasten,

Matthew 18:20

“And when two or thre of you are together because of me, you can be sure I’ll be there.”

We begin each session by catching up with one another, followed by our study and discussion. This group has informal discussions on Bible Study, devotions, Christian growth, discipleship, ethical concerns, current events, and more. Topics and studies vary based on the interest of those in the group. Members have a desire to share and learn from each other. Currently (Oct 2017) we are following a Bible study about the book of Numbers by Melissa Spoelstra, Numbers, Learning Contentment In A Culture Of More. We welcome anyone to join us!
