Children’s Worship

Children’s Worship is a time for Bethel’s children to have a worship service that is all their own.  Children from Kindergarten – 6th grade will be dismissed to room 17a after the first three songs and opening prayer of the Contemporary (11am) Service.  During the beginning of the Contemporary Service, children are welcome to sit with their families or in the front row with the other Bethel Kids.  Orange 252 is again utilized for the worship time.  We share a bible story and monthly lesson, along with activities that not only help the children grow in their relationship with God but also with each other.

Nursery Ss

Bethel’s Nursery Sunday School

The Bethel Nursery is for children birth through age 5.  Everything we teach our preschoolers is based on one of three, but powerful, truths:

  1. God made me.
  2. God loves me.
  3. Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

The curriculum is constructed to entice wonder, in a preschooler and meet them where they are cognitively, spiritually, physically, emotionally, and socially.  Through age appropriate activities, preschoolers are building their spiritual foundation so that by the time they graduate to Kindergarten they know the three basic truths.  The nursery is available from 10:00am – 12:00pm. This time frame will give Parents, Grandparents, and Guardians a chance to attend 10am Sunday School classes as well as the 11am Contemporary Worship.

3rd-6th grade children come together for an hour of Sunday school from 10:30-11:00am in room 17a.  We use the Orange 252 Curriculum.  Everything that is taught in 252 is based on the three basic, but powerful, truths modeled by Jesus in Luke 2:52.

  1. I need to make wise choices.
  2. I can trust God no matter what.
  3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Orange 252 is designed to provoke discovery and invite kids into a new understanding of how to grow into a relationship with Jesus.  It focuses on 150 key bible stories, 4 faith skills, and 30 life apps.
