In-Person Worship Suspended Again
Due to the resurgence of corona virus in Ohio, and especially in Franklin County, Bethel International United Methodist Church is again suspending in-person worship. We will not offer in-person services at least through the end of August, and will reevaluate for fall as we watch how things progress. Because we are led by Jesus’ command to “love your neighbor,” our staff and Leadership Board take people’s safety and good health as our first priority. Survey results suggest that a significant majority of people do not yet feel comfortable returning to in-person worship. We take that as the wisdom of our church community—it’s not yet time to meet in-person.
Online worship will continue to be posted every Sunday morning on this website and Facebook. Past services are archived and available any time. The current worship series—CHOSEN, a partnership with our youth musicians--continues through August 9. After that we will bring you a series called A LITTLE CHILD SHALL LEAD THEM, focusing on children, family, and faith. We welcome all ideas and input about how to make online worship ever more vital and how to deepen Christian community during the pandemic. Thank you.
