PURPOSE OF THE UNITED METHODIST WOMEN
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
1st Saturday of each month @ 9:00 a.m. (excluding summer months)
9:00 a.m. - light breakfast
9:30 a.m. - devotions, program and business meeting
Mary Magdalene Circle - 3rd Tuesday of each month @ 11:30 a.m.
Potluck Lunch followed by Bible Study, Contact person - Jean Austin

Family Night at the Movies, Wedding Receptions, Annual Spiritual Retreat, Cookies/Visits to Shut-ins, Celebration of Life Dinners
New Life United Methodist Church, NNEMAP Food Pantry, Faith Mission,
Bethel Christian Preschool, South Side Settlement, Assist with Funds for Mission Trips
United Methodist Children's Home
Annual "Spring Showers" for those in need, Ronald McDonald House, Locks of Love, Habitat for Humanity Families, South Side Settlement Preschool, Clothing Donations, Christmas "Adopt a Family", New Life United Methodist Church, Environmental Issues
Yard Sale each August, Winterfair Coat Check each December, Step Back in Time Dinner/Auction, Nut and Candy Sale, Craft Fair
While holding on to our traditions and values so important to our long time UMW, we are open and interested in having new ideas to connect with new membership.
We truly WELCOME and ENCOURAGE new women to join us at our gatherings.
